The Arctic Alaska Region, of the Sports Car Club of America, will be sanctioning the final event in the Winter RallyCross Season Championship on Saturday, March 20th, at the former site of the Alaska Native Hospital, which is located on 3rd Avenue between Ingra and Eagle, in downtown Anchorage.

The name for our event came while looking for an event that happened in history on March 20th. So, in celebrating the day Albert Einstein published his general theory of relativity, we welome you to "Einstein's Theory of Rally-X-tivity". As RallyCrossers have experienced—the laws of physics are the same for all observers, but if you're in the driver's seat at a RallyCross, the laws of physics seem to be at your mercy!

Rebecca, thank you for getting this posted up, and I hope folks like the name too. It is a play-off the name of a Road Rally which Kim Ciccone Rallymastered last year. We were looking at "what happened on this day" and when we saw Einsteins "anniversary" - I joked, "Hey, we could call it  Einstein's Theory of Rallytivity" and it stuck. As a side note, our Road Rally program is working to get our schedule finalized – we have Rallymasters ready to go for the 2010 Season. We hope you'll Come Join Us...

I'm cleaning off the desktop, and came across observer notes from the last event.

Not that all RallyCross cars that might have an "off" are Subaru's, yet just a reminder that those who don't run with tow-hooks installed on their vehicles should be sure to bring them to Einstein's Rally-X-tivity! There is always a debate on which years' tow-hooks work with different models, so make sure you have your own on site.

I'm just sayin'...
