The Arctic Alaska Region of the Sports Car Club of America, and the Region’s RallyX Team will be sanctioning their first RallyCross of the 2008 Season on Saturday, March 22, 2008. The “March Madness” RallyCross will be held at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer, Alaska. The approx. 0.5 mile course will be utilizing the Purple Lot parking area and portions of the sprint car track and infield. Click here for more information!

As I wrote my most recent rally, "Einstein's Theory of Rallytivity", that question came up a lot. It was "berry" perplexing!

Care to find out what in the world I might be speaking of? Then, I invite you to join us on March15th for a progressive dinner road rally.

While some of you may be familiar with the sport of Road Rally, most are not and this is a fine opportunity to come try the game. I've tried to write an event that is more relaxed in nature…none of that Time/Speed/Distance stuff to worry about! As RallyMaster, I used ONLY the laws of physics that I fully comprehend to write the event. No, really, I used them whether they made sense or not!

"Come one, come all to February’s rally on Saturday the 16th! We shall explore East Anchorage for our next adventure as we seek to determine the answer to the age-old rally query: “Which way do we go?” Our quest will begin with registration at the Radio Espresso on the corner of Boniface & Northern Lights at 10:00am, with embarkation set for 11:00. This event will be a Games/Touring/Adventure-style rally with progressive instructions. What are progressive instructions?

TOPEKA, Kan. (Jan. 11, 2008) – Registration for all but one event on the 2008 The Tire Rack® National Solo Season calendar will open on Monday, Jan. 14.

All eight of the Tire Rack Solo National Tour events and nine of the 10 Tire Rack ProSolo National Series events, including the Jan. 26 – 27 test in Cecil, Ga., will be open for registration by the end of the business day (central time), Jan. 14. Registration for the DC ProSolo will open at a later date to be determined.
