What piece of music best evokes the response one has before heading out from the starting line on their RallyCross run? Wagner’s “Flight of the Valkyries” has become a background montage for many as they embark out on a great adventure. Come out and bring your most fierce game to the course!

The Arctic Alaska Region, of the Sports Car Club of America, will be sanctioning the third Winter RallyCross of the season on Saturday, February 13, 2010. The Slide of the ValkyriesRallyCross will be held at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer. The RallyCross Team has layed out an approximately half-mile course and will be utilizing the “RED LOT” parking area.
Cars will have been gridded departing tech, and we will have the first car on course prior to 11AM. There will be at least two runs per group, with a 30-minute break (the RallyCross Team will be resetting the course) and then resume with the final runs of the day. There will be a minimum of 4 runs, with your highest time dropped from your final score.
